Exciting New Era for Children's Sabbath School: New Curriculum Training Success

Lae, Morobe Province – The Morobe Mission Communication and Media Department is thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of the recent Children’s Sabbath School New Curriculum Training held at the 2mile Church in Lae. This significant event marked the transition from the Grace Link curriculum to the innovative Alive in Jesus Curriculum.

The training, conducted from 29th of July to 1st of August 2024, was graced by a distinguished panel of presenters: Dr. Agness Kola, PNGUM Children Ministry Director; Jaquelyn Wari, PNG Communication Director; Pastor Cameron Wari, Lae District Director; and Thrisa Laina. Their expertise and passionate delivery ensured a comprehensive understanding of the new curriculum and its benefits for the children’s ministry.

With participation from 15 districts across Morobe, the training saw a remarkable turnout, reflecting the high level of engagement and commitment from our local leaders. The Alive in Jesus Curriculum promises to offer a fresh, dynamic approach to teaching that aligns with our mission to nurture and inspire the next generation of believers.

The training sessions were met with enthusiasm from the participants, who expressed their excitement about the new curriculum's potential to enhance their Sabbath School programs. The curriculum is designed to deepen children's understanding of their faith and foster a stronger connection with Jesus, making it a valuable addition to our educational resources.

Morobe Mission Children Ministry Director Minister Nancy Enopa presented essential resources to each of the 15 District Directors. This gesture underscores our commitment to supporting the local leaders in implementing the new curriculum effectively.

Minister Nancy Enopa extended heartfelt gratitude to all who contributed to the successful outcome of the training. “We are incredibly grateful for the dedication of our presenters and the active participation of our district leaders.
