16th Business Session Progresses with Leadership transition and order.

Gabensis, Papua New Guinea โ€“ The Morobe Mission 16th Business Session, which commenced on November 8, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. in the Gabensis Adventist Primary School Hall, continued in an orderly manner on November 8, 2025, focusing on governance, nominations, and forward-looking initiatives.

Attended by Morobe Mission 16th Business Session members, delegates representing all 15 districts of the Morobe Mission, retirees, and former local mission workers, the session adhered to a structured agenda. Key proceedings on the opening day included:

1. Voting on Session Procedures and Guidelines

2. Voting on Session Delegates

3. Adoption of the Session Program Outline

4. Preview of Morobe Mission activities

5. Review of action items from the 15th Business Session

6. Formation and voting of the Organizing Committee

The session featured an official welcome and introduction of key administrative leaders: Morobe Mission Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Mr. Peter Daniel, Secretary Mrs. Pauline Yorio, and Assistant CFO Ms. Misma Robert. Pastor Danny Philip acknowledged and appreciated former Morobe Mission President Pastor Kua Nugai for the strong leadership he demonstrated in charting the course of the Morobe Mission during the last quinquennium. Pr. Danny Philip also acknowledged Morobe Mission for grooming Pastor Charles Paul former Stewardship Director of Morobe Mission, now Pastor Charles Paul will serve has Sepik Mission Secretary.

Pastor Danny Philip, President of the Papua New Guinea Union Mission (PNGUM) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, organized the session to ensure smooth operations. Each district appointed organizing committees from their local churches, which met with Pastor Philip for guidance on nominating the nominating committees.

Morobe Mission President-Elect Pastor Enosh Enopa explained the session procedures and guidelines to the Business Members.

As of today November 9th, 2025, the Morobe Mission session remained in order, with nominating committees convene to appoint new departmental directors and executive committees for 2026-2030. Departmental directors' reports were scheduled to commence today, emphasizing accountability and strategic alignment for the mission's future endeavors.
