Day 1 : Children Ministry Sabbath School
The Morobe Mission of the SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH under the department of Women's /Children Ministry and Personal Ministry is excited to announce the Training of a revolutionary curriculum designed to uplift and empower the next generation of Children Ministries teacher, Pastors and lay workers. The "Alive In Jesus" is a new Curriculum is set to transform the old Grace Link approach to Children's Sabbath School, incorporating essential pillars to foster grace, character development, and a strong sense of mission.
Pillars of the Curriculum:
1. Grace
At the core of the curriculum is the concept of grace, emphasizing the unmerited favor and love that God extends to all. Drawing inspiration from John 15:12, children will learn the value of grace in
their lives, cultivating a deep understanding of acceptance and love for themselves and others.
2. Character Development.
Integral to "Alive In Jesus" is the focus on character development. Encouraging children to embody values such as kindness, empathy, and resilience, the curriculum aims to mold young minds through the principles of John 15:12, fostering a community where each child is valued for their unique qualities.
3. Mission
Emphasizing the importance of purpose and service, the curriculum instills a sense of mission in young hearts. With guidance from John 15:11 and Psalms 51:12, 13, children are encouraged to discover their mission in spreading love, joy, and hope within their communities, reflecting the teachings of Jesus in tangible ways.
Inaugural Day 1 Event
When children are immersed in the spirit of grace and love, as they delved into the foundations of character development and the significance of their unique mission as followers of Jesus.
Attendees witnessed firsthand the impact of this innovative curriculum, as children embraced the teachings with enthusiasm and eagerness to embody the values of grace, character, and mission in their daily lives.
