Ragiampun Adventist High School Inaugurates New Staff House and Male Ablution Block

In a significant step forward for Ragiampun Adventist High School, the institution proudly opened its newly built staff house and male ablution block. The inauguration event saw attendance from esteemed guests and speakers who commended the school's efforts and highlighted the importance of the new infrastructure.

Mrs. Kylie Kusivai (Morobe Mission CFO) praised the leadership of Principal Mr. Jeffery Inamuka and lauded the contractor's exceptional work on the staff house. She emphasized that the quality of the building is a testament to the contractor's standards and commended the principal for upholding the mission's values. Mrs. Kusivai urged students to take ownership of the new facilities, stressing their long-term benefits for the student body.

Mr. Robin Bazzinuc (Morobe Provincial Deputy Administrator) applauded the discipline exhibited by Ragiampun's students and staff, noting that personal discipline is crucial for success. He expressed gratitude to the Morobe Mission administration for their efforts in completing the project, despite the current economic challenges. Mr. Bazzinuc highlighted the Morobe Provincial Government's significant contribution, which has been utilized productively. Living in an era of economic crisis, the Morobe Mission and the government need to harness the resources available through providing funding needed to complete the projects.

The school Principal Mr. Jeffrey Inamuka provided a brief report covering the years 2022 to 2024. He thanked Mr. Robin Bazzinuc for supporting infrastructure not only at Ragiampun Adventist High School but across all secondary and high schools in Morobe Province. He detailed the financial contributions and expenditures, mentioning funds received from the Provincial Government and the school board, used to construct a four-in-one classroom. Additional funds were allocated to the staff house and the male ablution block. Mr. Inamuka announced that another amount remains in the school account, earmarked for a future girls' dormitory.

 Mr. Gibson Dom (Senior Secondary School Inspector) encouraged PNC members to support the school through fundraising efforts for further infrastructure development. He assured the community that Ragiampun Adventist High School is on the path to achieving secondary level recognition. Mr. Dom challenged students to respect the new buildings and avoid defacing them with graffiti, urging them to strive for academic excellence and leave a lasting legacy.
