Morobe Mission Health Professionals Conduct Free Medical checks.

Free medical checks were conducted by Adventist health professionals yesterday at Bualu Adventist church after their weekend retreat.

Adventist health professionals who attended a weekend retreat at Bualu Adventist church in the Nawaeb LLG in the Morobe province also did free medical check-ups with free medical supplies for the sick and needy.

The three hours free medical check-ups attracted more than two hundred people. Free medical supplies were also given out to the patients. Ranging from medicine to reading glasses and referrals being made for those with complicated illnesses and disorders.

The mission held retreat themed “touch a life, make disciple” focused mainly on spiritually empowering health professionals to touch and save lives both physically and spiritually. The weekend run program also invited Morobe Mission Youth Director, Pr. Micah Akui as its guest speaker with special appearances made on the Sabbath by Morobe Mission president, Pr. Blasius Managos.

With seven new summit councils being nominated on Sabbath evening, the Morobe Adventist Health Professionals are now set on making preparations for the upcoming Union Health Summit in Goroka in the coming month of October.
