Susan from Kabarangath village in the Markham district fell ill to a crippling illness in January early this year is finally able to walk again after six months. Visiting Adventist friends of Warasek Adventist Church from the Markham two district visited her and prayed with her on Wednesday (13th of July 2018) evening with much faith in the prayers, susan finally took her first steps out of bed the following day (Thursday 14th).

The visiting Warasek Adventist church family hosted an evangelistic meeting at Bibuai, a branch church when they heard of Susan’s conditions and decided to visit her and prayed with her on Wednesday. The following day they heard shouts of joy coming from Susan’s humble hut.

“Preis God! God blo Sabat hilim mi!” (Praise God! God of the Sabbath healed me!) shouted Susan with tears of joys as she took her first steps.

It was a day of rejoicing for the visiting Adventists to see God do miracles for them.

The guest speaker of the evangelistic meeting, James Okosura, a ministerial student of Sonoma Adventist College on his practicum was so blessed to see Susan walking again.

The evangelistic meeting was held on the 9th – 14th of July. Five souls were also baptized on the Sabbath.
