Mission held long weekend Bible Camp in Gebensis ended yesterday.

Morobe Mission of the Seventh-day Adventsist church hosted a long weekend bible camp
themed ‘Living Anticipation of Christs Return’ at Gebensis Adventist Primary School on the 29th
of March, to the 02nd of April.

The total camp population was divided into three age groups. Group one (Children) is for the
ages zero to fifteen, group two (Youth) includes ages sixteen to thirty-six and group three
(Adult) is made up of people aging thirty-seven to seventy. Daily sessions and worships were
held separately in each respective groups. “When they stay together, some of those session
presentations are particularly targeting adults only and the youth and children miss out”, said
Morobe Mission Secretary, Pastor Kua Nugai. “That’s why this time they are divided into three groups so that the presenters present to their level,” he added.

A total of 5000 plus Adventists attended the camp. The camp was attended by all districts except the Finchaffen, Kabwum and Tewae-Siassi district.
