South Pacific Division (SPD) Health Director of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Dr. Chestor Kuma, visited Buhalu Adventist Clinic in the Labuta LLG of Nawaeb District yesterday 30th May 2017.
Following up on the 2015 opening of the Buhalu Adventist Clinic, Dr. Chestor Kuma was very happy when visiting the clinic yesterday. Saying he was impressed with the current state of the clinic. Thanking the two staff and two others who turned out to be Lutheran elders from Buhalu village.
“I’m willing to support you with this new development here”, he said, stressing out the point to Gad Kaito, Health Director for the Papua New Guinea Union Mission and Mrs. Gabby Akui, Morobe Mission Health Director. He also added on that if they could provide him the necessary information, funds can be made available in due time.
Nursing officer, Rose Aisuk, said in an interview that she was thankful for the visit made by Dr. Kuma. She also said that from the feedbacks she received from the inspecting individual were praises and thanks, and she is hopeful that her plans for an extension of the clinic will be granted by Dr. Chestor Kuma, SPD Health Direactor.
The Buhalu Health Clinic is also the only Adventist Clinic in the Morobe Mission vicinity.
