A primary school in the Salamaua LLG of Huon Gulf
District of Morobe Province, receives donations
from the visiting Seventh-Day Adventists Church
members.
Donations, ranging from toiletries to stationaries
were given to every students in the area by the
Total Members Involvement (TMI) Morobe Mission.
This includes the Kamiatum Primary School and its
feeder elementary schools, Kamiatam and Popdubi
Elementary Schools.

“I am so happy that this program is one of its kind
and I would like to thank the Seventh-Day Adventists for reaching out, it really helps the school a lot”,
said Mr. Bami, a senior teacher of the primary school.

The program took place within the school vicinity with a short devotion, health talks and demonstration
carried out by the visiting Adventists. The teachers were also given gift packs which contains toiletries
and books, including a World Changers Bible each.

Discipline is always an issue in this school, and I hope that whatever that is being said and displayed in
the school by the Adventists will help shape and mold each child as they return back to their small
communities”, said Mrs. Angori, who serves in the school for almost three years.

Also, 6 new school toilets were built as part of community services by the Adventists back to the
community, with sewing and cooking lessons being thought to the local women.
